Medellin restaurant “Sweet Lemon: Wraps and Mix” is the end result of founder Santiago Angel’s multi-year voyage around the world. Well before his trip Santiago noticed that Colombians, despite a world-class collective vanity level, did not have sufficient access to the foods that would help them look good. “The concept of health food simply was non-existent within Colombia,” he says. With Sweet Lemon, his goal is to change what people are putting in their bodies. During his travels through 27 countries, Santiago witnessed the growing global trend towards healthier food. As a result, he returned home with an idea of how to provide Colombians with the types of food they lacked.

Sweet Lemon insists on using only the freshest ingredients available, refusing to use frozen or artificial ingredients in food preparation. With ambitious plans to expand across the country, Sweet Lemon Medellin is located on the second floor of the Unicentro shopping mall in Laureles. Stop by for a tantalizing and affordable selection of wraps and smoothies; they’ve also got a lightning fast internet connection.
