Adidas Originals Launch Party

What’s Medellin without a little glamour? Last night, Thursday December 1^st, the Jack Mag team attended the Adidas All Originals launch party. The event took place at Attic, a So-Ho style lounge in the recently opened Rio Sur complex. And who doesn’t love launch parties? They bring out a mix of TV personalities and fashion divas and this event was no different with Medellin’s best and brightest from the fashion and media worlds as well as independent bloggers and designers. The lounge/bar was decked out with tons of Adidas eye candy including gear from the new Originals campaign; there was even blue cocktails to match the brand’s distinctive blue color.

The actual fashion show was quick and casual, with models descending the stairs from the upper area, doing a quick pass of the floor and then mingling with guests in their outfits for the rest of the night. The new line, which is available in Colombia exclusively in Adidas stores, is a move towards a more artsy, indie, fashion-forward aesthetic, when compared to Adidas’ traditional urban / athletic look.
